SCENE 1 ACT 1 ( in the car )----------------------- Mother tries to make a polite conversation to daughter-- me. Mum: sooo, how was school today? why you almost come out so late ah? i saw the pretty pretty girl's sister in school today, what's her name ah? the pretty pretty one? Daughter tries to scan through the little knowledge of my friends that mum knows. Me: Err? tessa? fi? konstance? i dunno.. OH WAIT. Domnique? Mum: OH YES YES YES! that one. eh why her sister here ah? Me: she's a teacher in this school.. Mum: whoa, so young can be teacher, eh girl do you want to be a teacher when you grow up? Me: (looks at her) mum, i think i just told you yesterday night that i wanna be a Marine Biologist right? Mum: oh, allright. ( awkward silence prevails in the car ) SCENE 1 ACT 2 ( in the lift) ------------------- Mum: girl, did you eat the sandwiches that i made for you in the morning? Me: ( nods) Mum: you ate it while walking up the slope ah? Me : ( nods) Mum: HAH?! YOU ATE IT WHILE WALKING UP THE SLOPE? PREFECT CAN EAT WHILE WALKING MEH? Me: ( BURSTS OUT IN LAUGHTER) why cannot??!! HAHAHAHA :D Mum: ohhhh.. can ah? hiaz, back in my days....
